Genmaicha Powder (First Flush) 50 g (Approx. 1.76 oz)

Deep-Steamed Shizuoka Green Tea × Roasted Brown Rice · Dissolves Easily · Latte-Ready

Made in Japan (Makinohara, Shizuoka) First Flush Leaves Deep-Steamed (Fukamushi) Latte Friendly Lower Caffeine*

Premium First-Flush Genmaicha, Crafted for Flavor

Unlike typical genmaicha made with lower-grade leaves, this powder uses only high-quality first-flush green tea from sun-kissed fields in Makinohara, Shizuoka. A longer deep-steaming (fukamushi) brings a fuller body and rich umami, while carefully roasted brown rice adds a comforting, nutty aroma. It dissolves quickly in hot or cold water, so you can make tea in seconds.

Perfect for Lattes & Daily Drinks

The toasty genmaicha aroma pairs beautifully with milk—an excellent latte-friendly alternative to matcha. Enjoy a smooth, gentle taste with a modest caffeine profile thanks to the roasted rice blend.

How to Make

  • Hot Tea: Add 0.3–0.4 g powder, pour 200 ml (Approx. 6.8 fl oz) hot water, stir well, and enjoy.
  • Iced Tea (Bottle): Add 0.5 g powder to a bottle, pour 300 ml (Approx. 10.1 fl oz) cold water, shake well.
  • Latte Idea (1 cup): 150 ml (Approx. 5.1 fl oz) milk + 50 ml (Approx. 1.7 fl oz) hot water + 1 g powder. Adjust to taste.

Tip: Sift or pre-mix the powder with a splash of water for extra smoothness.
